Chex Mix Fast, and everyone loves it! Ingredients2 sticks butter 2 cups brown sugar 1/2 cup light karo syrup 1 15 oz pkg Kryspix cereal 1 jar dry roasted peanust (May substitute w/ honey roasted) 1 bag small sized pretzels 1 16 oz bag plain m&m's (optional) Directions Heat oven to 350 Spray 2 9" x 13" cake pans with Pam In a BIG bowl, mix peanuts, pretzels and cereal Boil 2 sticks butter, brown sugar and Karo syrup until butter is melted, then boil for 2 minutes stirring occasionally Pour mix over cereal as someone gently stirs Bake for 20 minutes in the cake pans. Turn over and stir twice while baking Place on wax paper to cool and break apart as it cools Add m&m's and break apart again Pat Reinhardt 03-03-2004 Top of Page This recipe is going to take some time but it is worth it!
Meat filling:
Cottage cheese filling: 10 oz. lasagna noodles l pound Mozzarella cheese grated Slices of Mozzarella cheese for garnish if desired 1. Begin by browning the meat slowly, drain off excess fat, (may even rinse in warm water to remove fat after browning). Add next six ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes to blend flavors, stirring occasionally. 2. Cook noodles in boiling salted water. till tender; drain; rinse in cold water. Combine the ingredients for cottage cheese filling. I put them all in the blender and then process until it is smooth. 3. Spray a 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Place half of the noodles in the bottom; spread half of the cottage cheese mixture on the noodles; add half of the Mozzarella cheese and layer on half of the meat sauce. Repeat the layers. 4. This can be frozen or made ahead and kept in the refrigerator over night. 5. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until hot in the middle. Garnish with triangles of Mozzarella cheese if you like. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes so the filling will set. Then cut into squares. Makes 12 servings.

1/4 cup margarin or salad oil (canola is a healthy one) Heat oven to 350. Mix oil, brown sugar, egg and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in a greased square pan, 8x8x2 inches. Bake 25 minutes. Cut into about 2 inch squares to make 16 bars.

1 cup rolled oats 1. Heat oven to 400. 2. Place cupcake papers in the muffin pans. Spray the papers with Pam. 3. Combine oatmeal and milk. Add beaten egg. Mix well. Add sugar and oil. 4. In separate bowl sift dry ingredients together and add to the oatmeal mixture. 5. Add raisins or nuts at this time. Stir only enough to dampen the ingredients. 6. Spoon mixture into muffin cups, filling them about 2/3 full and bake. 7. Bake for 20 minutes. 8. Makes 12 medium sized muffins.

This one has been around for years; can also be done with tiny frozen (thawed) shrimp instead of the crab meat.
Canned crab meat or tiny frozen shrimp 1. Place one 8 oz. rectangle of Philadelphia cream cheese on a pretty plate. 2. Spread canned crab meat over the cheese. 3. Cover with shrimp sauce. 4. Serve with crackers.
Pat Reinhardt 3-16-2001 This economical and easy recipe can be used for company, for a potluck or for that neighbor who needs a casserole. One 8 oz. bag medium egg noodles
Meat mixture:
Cottage cheese mixture: 3/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese 1. Cook noodles according to package directions, then rinse and drain. 2. Melt butter in skillet or spray with Pam. Add, stir and cook ground beef until it loses its pink color. 3. Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper and cover and simmer for 5 minutes. 4. Mix cottage cheese, sour cream and green onions. Fold together the noodles and the cottage cheese mixture. 5. In a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole or baking dish spread half the noodle mixture. Cover with half the meat mixture. Repeat layers again. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. 6. Refrigerate or freeze. When ready to serve, bake thawed casserole at 350 for 40 minutes or until it is heated through and the cheese is melted.
Pat Reinhardt 3-16-2001 This invention was a way to offer healthy and economical food when the kids were growing up, I dreamed up the name thinking they would eat anything that had to do with astronauts. I was right!
2 cans tuna, drained well 1. Mix all together to the consistency of a tuna salad. 2. Place the mix in hamburger buns and stack them in a glass casserole. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes.

This moist, delicious cake is made without eggs or milk. It is so chocolaty and healthy and is eaten up quickly. My friend was able to get this recipe from the restaurant but they said not to give it to anyone else so we won't.
3 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1 1/2 cup maple syrup
Topping
Cake 2. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes. Do not overbake or cake will get dry. 3. Cool cake and apply topping.
Topping Broil the topping until golden. Watch this closely as it may brown quickly.
Pat Reinhardt 3-16-2001 I started cooking this in 1961 and we have always liked it. Meatball mix:
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
Sauce: 1. Combine raw meat, rice, salt pepper and onions. Shape into balls. 2. Place meat balls into a greased casserole, pour the mix of soup and water over the meat balls. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or 1 hour.

This recipe was in a microwave cookbook given to me by Ed's sister Bunny. We have had it often.

Topping: 1. Microwave ground beef and onion in a 2 quart covered casserole for 4-5 minutes on HIGH until no longer pink. Drain. 2. Stir in remaining sauce ingredients. 3. Combine filling ingredients. Stuff the uncooked manicotti using a small spoon or knife. 4. Spray a 8x12 inch glass dish with Pam and arrange manicotti in it. Cover with the meat sauce. Sprinkle on the topping. Shield corners of the dish with foil. Microwave for 30-35 minutes at MEDIUM HEAT (70%).May want to rotate the dish for even cooking. Let stand for 5 minutes. Freezes well before or after cooking. Serves 6-8.
Pat Reinhardt 3-16-2001 This recipe was make in my family since the 1950's. Out on the farm if my mom saw unexpected company coming she would say, "Quick, girls, mix up some no bakes." They were fun to make for a snack or dessert.
2 cups sugar 2. In a bowl place the 3 cups oatmeal, nuts and coconut. Add the boiled mixture and stir. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Chill. Makes 24 cookies.
